Recipe for the Perfect Jamaican Escape
- 1 large plot of tropical gardens on Fairy Hill, Port Antonio
- Several beautifully appointed, self contained cottages (only use Mikuzi)
- A dash of Steve (probably the best caretaker in the world)
- 2 minutes of strolling to idyllic Winnifred Beach (one of Jamaica's finest)
- Several dips in the sparkling clear blue Caribbean sea
- A handful of dozes in the hammock
- 1 portion of Jerk from the original home of Jerk, nearby Boston Beach
- 2 minutes of driving to Errol Flynn's old stomping ground, the world famous Blue Lagoon.
- 1 bunch of charming, friendly locals
- 3 games of dominoes
- 2 cold beers (Red Stripe, of course)
- 1 large measure of irie vibes
- 2 freshly caught fish, spiced and grilled to perfection by Painter and Cynthia at their beachside restaurant
- 1 awesome sunset
Mix ingredients well and season with a generous pinch of
Jamaican
magic.
For best results, repeat for several days (or weeks). Mmmmmmmmm...
